SOMOS designed this pool and surrounding yard so that its owners have a second house outside. The "mosquito eating" pond water feature, the fire pit, the large vegetable garden, the dining area, the playground, and "mud-room" of the yard are all like outdoor rooms, leveled and divided by features like gabions, raw juniper log fencing, or reed walls.
